Doug started his glassblowing career in 1989 when he was trained to be a neon tubender at a neon shop in Huron, OH.  After working as a neon tubender for 3 years Doug went out to New Jersey to take Scientific Glassblowing at Salem Comm. College in Carney’s Point, NJ.  He then went on to work in the glass shop at Aldrich Chemical Co. and at Lab Glass in Kingsport, TN.  After moving back home to Ohio, Doug teamed up with business partner Eli Coury to start NavCour Glassware in Bay Village, OH
